Pacific Paintball to Assist with Spyder Cup 2008

Spyder Cup 2008 logoContinuing the strong partnership between Spyder and Pacific Paintball, for the 2008 Spyder Cup series Pacific Paintball will be utilizing its relationships, employees and resources to assist with certain activation elements. Pacific Paintball has already organized several of the premier paintball leagues and venues in the United States to host Spyder Cup divisions, including the NEPL, the CFOA, Chicago Badlandz, the XPS in Utah, the SPCS in Florida and Pacific Paintball’s own XPSL. Spyder Cup teams and players will sign up via Pacific Paintball’s new on line registration system.

Spyder will hold seven regional paintball events where amateur 3-man teams will compete in a center flag format. The winning team from each of these seven events will be awarded an all expenses paid trip to the Spyder Cup Grand Finale hosted at the NPPL World Championships in San Diego November 14-16, 2008*. These seven 3-man teams will compete for three brand new MAZDA3 hatchbacks! An additional $10,000 in prizes will be awarded to the top placing teams at the regional events.

Spyder is a proud Platinum sponsor of the NPPL strongly supporting the NPPL Super 7 World Series, the NPPL LiveWebcast, the television series Xtreme Paintball: Beyond the Paint, Paintball2Xtremes magazine and the XPSL. “Spyder has been a Platinum sponsor of the NPPL since our inception. They have been great partners and they have stepped up big supporting all of Pacific Paintball’s businesses in 2008. I look forward to a continued relationship through the Spyder Cup and working together to bring paintball to the masses.” Said Shawn Walker, President of Pacific Paintball.

Jason Donaldson, VP of Marketing for Spyder adds "We are very excited to team up with Pacific Paintball to help with the expansion of Spyder Cup in 2008.
