Rec-ball is the most popular paintball format for readers of my blog.
REC-BALL (Recreation Ball in brief) includes all those types and styles that Paintball has adopted ever since it started up, except from Speedball.
Rec-ball, is a catch-all phrase meaning just about any paintball game that you play just for the fun of it (not for points to win a tournament).
Rec-ball can include big games (games with huge numbers of players), scenerios (games with a theme), and walk-ons (where you just show up at a field and find some teamates.)There are a wide variety of rec-ball playing feilds. It is often played in the woods, but can also be played in outdoor concept fields (such as the fields at the Blitz) or in indoor fields.
Rec-ball is the kind of playing you do for fun, without permanent teams, and where the slate of wins and loses is wiped clean at the end of the day.
The Woodsball (forest), Urbanball (cities), Snowball (snow), scripts of imagination, scripts of tactic and anything else that someone can image, belong to this category (Rec Ball), however always by keeping the basic rules of safety.
